HEC Introduces New Degree Attestation System
Streamlined Process for Verifying Educational Credentials
Effective May 29th, 2017
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has implemented a new Degree Attestation System (DAS) to enhance the efficiency and security of verifying educational credentials. Effective May 29th, 2017, all applicants must apply for attestation through this online system.
Previously, applicants could attest to photocopies of original documents. However, under the new system, all original documents, including matriculation certificates and other relevant documents, must be submitted along with a set of photocopies.
HEC has designed the DAS to be secure and user-friendly. Applicants can seamlessly apply for degree attestation from any location with internet access, streamlining the process and reducing the burden on applicants.
